I bought the p2 and had a lot of play time with it. The videos are nice to view. The music quality is great. You can make calls through it. The only thing I didn't like is the emodio software that comes with it. but it is not necessary to use. It made trouble with datacasts don't work on vista x64 and they aren't even that good. It also might cause installation trouble. I would however reccomend installing it, so it can update your firmware, and you can download themes with it. You can also listen to radio and a whole bunch of other stuff that you can find on any review. If you are looking for an mp3/mp4 player buy this. By the way .svi is basically .avi just convert your video with any converter and use the 480x272 resolution and your good to go.

i love this product and everything about it. my only problem with it is that the battery life isn't as good as my old mp3 player

This is, by far, is the best mp3 I have. I had Sony, an older model of Samsung, and just bought Sansa Fuze.
For me, this Samsung P2 has the best sound quality. I use it at the gym most of the time. The touch screen makes it easy to scroll and find the songs/playlist I want to hear. I can say this because I brought my Sansa Fuze to the gym and it was annoying trying to find the playlists, or certain songs.
I listen to P2 with my JVC earbud headphone HA-FX66. This is the best combination.
FYI: the reason I bought Sansa Fuze was because I accidentaly left my P2 in my jacket and washed it. It was there for one whole cycle. When taking clothes out from washer, my heart almost fell when I saw my P2 and my earphones. I thought they all broke but my curiousity saved me. I hooked it up back to computer and guess what..... the usual P2 logo came on right away, everything is working, my songs, all the pictures are still there...the sound is still great!! Unbelievable.

I bought this mp3 player as a replacement. I had bought the same exact kind at a Wal-Mart about a year and a half ago but it was stolen out of my car. When I searched for it on Amazon, I was ecstatic when I saw the low price I could pay for a refurbished version of what I had before. One flaw is that the screen is not securely attached to the base so it is possible that it could pop off. However, this has only happened once and I've been using it pretty much every day. Other than that, I am very satisfied.

I got this MP3 Player before my iPod Touch 2nd Gen. This actually is a really good MP3. Although sometimes the touch response is off by couple of seconds. But it has one of the best sound quality because it has DNSE which comes with many Samsung MP3's, also it has a built in FM radio, its Bluetooth Capable, also you can choose to play the song at a speed you want to play it at. So you can choose to extremely fast or really slow.
